Imagine an engaged community where stewardship of our fragile environment is ingrained in the very core values of each and every one of us. A partnership of government, schools, businesses, civic organizations and individuals all sharing and caring.

This Is How We Do It

We’re building community pride and involvement through environmental stewardship

We host scheduled events for neighborhoods and local trails as well as impromptu FlashTRASH cleanups at locations needing some TLC.

Do you have a work group, a Scout troop, a neighborhood association or school club looking for a community service project? We’re happy to host.

We participate in both the WSDOT Adopt-a-Highway program and the City of Bellevue’s Adopt-a-Street program.

Since #LitterHasNoBoundaries, neither do we. Bellevue Green & Clean partners with volunteer litter cleanup groups in neighboring communities, forming a de facto Eastside Litter Alliance.

We can deploy easy-to-use litter cleanup kits that empower volunteers to tackle litter anytime, anywhere.

Plogging is a Swedish-born eco-friendly fitness trend that combines walking, hiking or jogging with picking up litter. Combining “jogging” and “plocka upp” (Swedish for “pick up”), it turns a regular workout into a treasure hunt for trash, helping both personal health and the environment.

Bellevue Green & Clean hosts plogging events throughout the year.

We’re ready to help with removal of invasive plants, especially when they create an environment where hard-to-remove litter can accumulate.

We promote safe bicycling by cleaning bike lanes and removing overgrowth, while advocating for a regional Trail Ranger program.
